Many times we have seen parents give their car keys to play to their kids without realizing the potential dangers of this automated alarm keys. This incident happened about five years ago in a small town in Kulai, Johor. After breakfast on a Saturday morning, I carried my eldest child and placed her in the front passenger seat. At that point I did not realize that her tiny hand actually when into my shirt pocket and took the car keys. In a split second, I heard a click sound and all the four doors of the car were locked. Only than I realized what has happened. My daughter has locked herself alone inside the car. The situation was so tense and chaotic. My mother in law was crying and my father in law was getting an iron bar to break the windscreen. The crowd started to gather and to add to our misery, some of the people were taking down our car number. At that moment I was having stress at the highest level. I quickly prayed and asked god for wisdom. I calmed myself down, took a deep breath and tried to speak to my two year old daughter while pointing to the alarm key button. Not knowing the danger which was waiting for her, she was having a gala time dancing and giggling in the car. After few attempts, finally she pressed the blue button and immediately I opened the car door and rescued my child. So, my dear friends, when you are faced with highly stressful moment, pray and ask for wisdom. Take a deep breath and think for the best way to solve your problems. If you do that, you will be able to have victory from your worries and even safe someone’s life. |
