Good Morning. Today is 14th February 2002. It’s Valentine’s Day. It is a day for everyone to express our feeling to the people we love, including our Mum, Dad, Aunt, Uncle, siblings, friends, husband, wife, boyfriend and girlfriend. Flowers, chocolate, cards and presents will most probably cost a bomb during this time of the year. You can even make your own cards if you want to give a personal touch to your loved one. It is the thought that counts. But as staff of NPM what can we do during Valentine’s day? Well today is the day to remember our colleagues who have assisted us throughout the year 2001. It was a very difficult year but we manage to survive because we have groups of people who are working with a common goal. We sing the same company song, we recite the same 7 priciples and we share the same company values. We also share the same working place. We see each other not less than 40 hours a week. Why not make today the day to remember our colleagues. Maybe we can have fellowship together. Let’s treat our colleagues for lunch or go for a teh tarik after work. Let us all cherish this comradeship. Love thy neighbour. If we do that, we will be able to improve our working relationship and indirectly help the growth of the company. Happy Valentine’s day. |
